Wir freuen euch tierisch, dass wir es dieses Jahr geschafft haben MOTOROWL für unser kleines Festival zu gewinnen! Wer das Quintett schon mal live erleben durfte, weiß, auf was für eine brachiale Liveperfomance wir uns am Samstagabend freuen dürfen!

Das schreibt Century Media über MOTOROWLs neues Album ATLAS:

„The new album is definitely a step forward. I don't know which direction it is but it feels great.“ - Max Hemmann (vocals/guitar) With influences spanning from Black Sabbath and early Pentagram to German kraut rock veterans like Kraan and Guru Guru up to Russian Circles, Baroness and the magnum opus of Opeth mastermind Mikael Åkerfeldt, the East German-based psychedelic doom powerhouse created a highly dynamic blend of imposing heaviness, deep harmonies and stirring atmospheres.

“Atlas” is a non-stop interplay between classic varieties of heavy guitars and modern post rock, colourful sound structures and deep black holes. „The album may contain traces of Iron Maiden,“ vocalist and guitar player Max Hemmann admits „because we love Iron Maiden!“ Max sums it up nicely: „When it comes to variegated riffs, beats or synthesizer we don't set ourselves any limits. Our music is driven by emotion rather than genre, traditions or other liabilities. It's all about the feeling. You can compare ‘Atlas’ with a house built of various Lego bricks in different colours and sizes. It may look unusual or odd but when you enter the door you will see it's a real house with varied and well-designed rooms, which feel comfortable.“ Max adds: „Honestly, I don't know where the synths actually came from. It was just there and it felt very fitting.“ 

Eternal Engine is a 3-piece from South-Germany. Typical stoner-doom riffs meet atmospheric jams with a hint of 70s prog and space rock. After one year as 2-piece – in which their self-titled EP was released – they are once again completed by a bass player. But the recipe stays the same: Dystopic songs, wavering between heavy fuzzed-out stoner-doom riffs and bleak psychedelic melodies.

Fettes Wummern dringen aus den Katakomben. Immer wieder schlagen Flammen aus den Türen des Proberaumes. Mal in Form knallharter Hardrock- und Bluesriffs untermalt von donnernden Drums und einem pumpenden Bass, mal als wunderschöne, melodiöse Phrasen. Im Dienste des 2,54cm großen Männchens feilen hier vier... Männer im Schweiße des Angesichts an Liedgut im Sinne eines Richard Schwarzmoor, Jakob Seite oder Roberto Pflänzchen.

 Freut euch auf eine „renovatio musica“, eine Auferstehung der Musik, des Rocks in seiner schönsten Form. Schon bald sollt ihr Zeuge werden! Fragt nicht: „3“ ist da!

El Pistolero ist eine deutsche Heavyband, die in den letzten Tagen des Jahres 2012 gegründet wurde.

Von Anfang an stand der Entschluss, rotzigen Heavyrock mit englischen und deutschen Texten zu spielen. 

Das Ergebnis ist Rockmusik in ihrer rohesten und ehrlichsten Form.

Einfach lauter, harter, ehrlicher Heavyrock!

Uwe Halmich interpretiert mit der Akustikgitarre mit Vorliebe lange vergessene Stücke aus aller Welt. Irish Folk Songs, die man höchstens noch in düsteren Pubs hört, Shanties aus verruchten Hafenkneipen und amerikanische Folk Songs aus dem vorletzten Jahrhundert. Dazu gesellen sich bekannte Songs in ungewöhnlichem Gewand – irgendwo zwischen Tom Waits und Black Sabbath.
